EYELASH EXTENSIONS AFTERCARE

Eyelash extensions look amazing and make your morning makeup routine much faster. Take care of them so they continue to look good and extend the time you’ll need between appointments.

• Remove makeup and clean extensions before bed - even if you did not wear makeup during the day. Failure to clean your lashes will not only result in poor retention, but the build up of bacteria can lead to eye infections.

• Apply a lash shampoo to a clean brush and gently wash in a downward motion over the eyelid and lash line. Rinse thoroughly with warm water, then pat the lashes dry using a tissue - make sure not to rub or use back and forth motions as it will pull extensions out. Use only oil and alcohol-free cleanser.

• Gently brush your lashes with the lash wand provided.

• If you are sweaty from working out, a hot day or have oily skin please make sure to take extra care. Excess oil especially can break down the adhesive on your extensions.

• To keep your lashes looking full, please schedule fills in advance every 2-3 weeks.

DO NOT :

• get lashes wet immediately after application in order for the adhesive to cure thoroughly.

• use steam rooms, saunas or sunbeds for 24 hours.

• use waterproof or oil based mascara on your extensions as they contain chemical properties that will break down the adhesive.

• use oil-based cleansers or makeup removers.

• brush wet lashes - allow a few minutes for your lashes to air dry.

• use cotton pads near your lash line, it will catch on the bonds and can pull the lashes.

• sleep on your face/stomach - constant pressure will cause premature shed, avoid intentionally pressing them into the pillow.

• pick, pull, tug, or play with your lashes. Any of these motions might cause them to fall out sooner than expected.

This may sound like a lot of work but you’ll actually find your new eyelashes save you so much time!
