What are the benefits of eyelash extensions?

Needless to say, your lash line will appear natural and glamorous. Your lashes will look longer, darker, more defined and make your morning makeup routine much faster. You will no longer need to wear mascara.

How do I choose the look I want?

We will consult with you to understand what type of style you are interested in and what look will work best with your natural lashes. The overall look of the lashes can range from very natural to very voluminous!

Keep in mind that these are lash extensions. They can only enhance the lashes you already have. You may not be able to achieve the same exact look as someone who has different lashes.

How long will they last?

The longevity of them will depend on factors such as general lifestyle, your daily cleansing routine, skin type, the type of makeup products you use and the length of your natural eyelash growth cycle. The life cycle of a natural lash is the amount of time it takes for a natural lash to grow and fall out. Natural lashes grow and fall out in cycles (every 60 to 90 days) with or without extensions.

Typically we lose between 2-5 lashes per day. Each lash is at a different growth stage. Due to this cycle, ‘eyelash refills’ are recommended every 2-3 weeks after the initial application.

How long does it take?

The procedure takes anywhere from 60 minutes to 180 minutes depending on your natural lashes and what kind of set you are looking for. Everyone is different in the number of natural lashes they have, so if you have lots of lashes, expect the process to take longer than someone who has fewer lashes. The process requires patience and concentration so therefore it should not be rushed. Often clients are so relaxed that they fall asleep. So come and prepare to relax!

Are they safe to wear with contact lenses?

Yes, they are. However, you have to remove contact lenses for the duration of treatment to avoid possible irritation. It is recommended to bring the case and solution with you to store them comfortably. They are safe to wear again once the treatment is completed.

Will lash extensions damage my own natural lashes?

When applied correctly, lash extensions do not damage your natural lashes - improper application and poor aftercare does.
